Making plans

We provide direct consultancy support, tools and information to help councils take forward good, timely plans as part of their local development framework.

We also host the Plan Making Manual on behalf of Communities and Local Government (CLG).

    We’ve delivered more than 200 pieces of plan making support to a restricted group of councils across England since 2006. As of September 2009, this support is available to all English planning authorities at subsidised rates. Support includes: project management, evidence base, options generation and member training.
